Photography Courses for all levels

I cannot thank you enough for the advice you gave me when I did your night walk class (I then did the studio class with you also!). The time you took to discuss the potential of  attempting to change my career from Nursing to Photography was invaluable, and your advice was so informative, yet not suggestive of any one way. I took the jump last January, deciding that the occasional class was not enough, and that I wanted to learn more, and really try to take it forward. I am studying at the City of Glasgow College, have my NC behind me now, and start the HND next week

So please give yourself a massive pat on the back for helping a random student to change her career, and develop a much loved hobby into something constructive.

A couple of years ago I had a one to one tutorial with Stuart. In my capacity as a tutor at City of Glasgow College Trade Union Education Centre I had be been asked, for the first time, to run a number of introductory courses on digital photography. In my session with Stuart we discussed in detail what I intended to cover and how. His support, advice and guidance were invaluable and gave me confidence in delivering my courses. As a tutor I appreciate the importance of learner engagement and this was clearly demonstrated in the way Stuart conducted our session

Went on the beginners course and right from the start it was first class. Stuart was suffering from a sore throat and was very professional in not letting this hinder our learning experience. We were made to feel comfortable and at ease with our limited knowledge and the way the course was conducted allowed you to learn and take in what you were being told. All questions that were asked were answered in an easy to understand fashion.

Stuart’s half day photography class was outstanding, having been on two previous courses, Stuart made all aspects of what is often a minefield, light work in simple, easy to understand language for all who attended the course. His depth of knowledge and un fussy manner made asking questions easy, particularly so for the beginners, in a class of photographers of all levels, were comfortable and at ease. Your depth of knowledge and uncomplicated explanations made the 4 hours fly in. Thank you for this introduction, to the “Magical world of Photography!”
